ADVERTISEMENTS

Yeah, you read it right! Nokia already has a prototype of the phone recharging wirelessly. They are able to beam electricty to a power a light bulb few feet away in their experiments.

They say there are waves in the air that just bounces around and most of it is wasted. This waves can be pick up in the air and uses the collected electromagnetic energy to create electrical current, then uses that to recharge the phone’s battery, Nokia said. And the technology hopingly to commercialize in three to five years.

Technology now is really surprising. We don’t know, maybe some years ahead, we can beam up to transport ourselves anywhere, like of what on Startrek.
